I bought my first home when I was 23 years old. I waived the home inspection because it was new construction and had a warranty. I saved a couple hundred dollars but it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I ever made. I learned from that mistake and I set out to learn everything I could about the construction industry.
I studied Construction Engineering at The University of Southern Mississippi and served as a Builder First Class and construction inspector in the U.S. Navy Reserve. I served as a construction inspector for the Coastal Retrofit Mississippi Project, FEMA’s in-progress inspections of Manufactured Housing Units (MHUs), and other commercial and residential projects.
In 2014, I started RPM Construction Technologies to provide inspection and consulting services on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
